It would help registration if teachers could
complete the registration forms beforehand, download
from here . (Bring a copy so you can
record which e-card has been allocated to which pupil). To ensure we have
enough maps could teachers/leaders please email Mike.Godfree@btinternet.com with
approximate numbers (and school year) A.S.A.P. even if you have already told
Rex or Val.
The event is open to all (including adults) not
just school teams, white to light green courses. Limited
parking in public car park opposite Abbey Pub in Darley Abbey or around the
village. Registration in Darley Barn just inside
the park.

From A6/A38 junction north of Derby, turn south onto A6 towards
Derby, then 1st left into Darley Abbey (Church Lane), then left at the bottom
of the hill (Old Lane), then right at the river (Darley Street).

Juniors are invited to come along
and run whether or not they are part of a school or group team. Championships
open to all juniors who either live in Derbyshire or are members of DVO.
Entries will be accepted on the day subject
to map availability.
SAFETY – all courses are planned
to British Orienteering Federation Guidelines. Parents, Teachers and Leaders
are asked to make sure that youngsters only enter courses for which they have
the experience.
