Thank you to all of you who came out and enjoyed a crispy-soggy day at Longstone Moor.
The Controller Paul Addison gave me the confidence to keep the event going even when I had to use the mats single-handed to get myself out of the very wet field on Saturday!
Which leads me to a special thank you to the Car Parking team and the army of extra pushers who helped to get everyone off the field quickly.
I noted that the Planner Jane Burgess, was complimented many times for her ingenious courses, including the use of butterfly loops to enjoy more corners of the moor.
Thank you to all the hard working DVO helpers who made my day so much simpler and easier.
DVO's next event in contrast, is the Ashbourne Urban on 1st January 2016 - no parking in a muddy field :)
But before that it is the EM Junior organised event at Bramcote next weekend.
Lost property: 1/2 moon glasses, flask and thumb compass - will be taken to Bramcote event.
